[PLAN YOUR NEXT TRIP] How to define the budget for your trip?

It is definitely a complicated issue, but important when planning your trip ...

Debunking myths

Something that many do not know is that the agencies do not increase the price of the products, because final suppliers offer us sales commissions on what we confirm. Your trip will be as cheap or as expensive, as are the products you are purchasing. A trip with private services, for 2 people, with 5-star hotels, will clearly have a higher cost than a trip in a 3-star hotel, with bus visits with 40 tourists.

The highest cost that you could pay with any agency, is the same that you could find on your own, and if you travel with the correct agency, that cost has a much higher value, by adding all the benefits and conceits that we can offer you, from personalized advice, to added values such as room upgrades, among others.

Going back to how to define the budget.

We have talked about how the main thing on your trip is to define the type of experience you want to have: Are you looking for adventure? Do you want to rest? Do you want to party? Total relaxation in a remote hotel? Pampering for you and your partner?

After having defined the type of trip you want to have (Step Nr. 1), here are the steps to follow, to find your ideal trip:

2. Define the duration. It is important to know which places have more to offer than others, so you don’t end up more or less time in a place that for you has greater or lower value.

3. Analyze flight options vs. the best season to travel. Is it worth traveling in the low season to adjust the budget, or is the low season accompanied by bad weather? Of course, now with global warming, the forecast is quite uncertain in many parts of the world, but it is worth taking into account!

4. Choose a hotel category and if you want private or group services. Obviously a 5 star is going to be more expensive (quality versus quantity?). With group services, you have to accommodate the schedules that are imposed on you, so comfort and flexibility versus savings?

5. Choose the activities that you can do in each place. In fact, you have to take this point into account to define the duration in each place, at least in a generic way, and in the end you can focus more on the day-to-day.

I assure you that these points will help you define your budget in a real way and without stress. And with our help, you can design your ideal trip.

That's why I always suggest: if you have more questions than answers, a personal meeting is better to define the details of your trip!

Let's travel!
